On behalf of Molson I would like to thank you and Sovereign General Insurance for your generous donation of $50,000 to the Molson Hospitality Employee’s Relief Fund and the Health Care Workers Fund.

As you know, the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto Concert held in Toronto this past July was an enormous undertaking with the underlying goal of raising awareness of the healthy status of the city of Toronto and re-establishing this city as a viable tourist and business destination.  Another objective of the event was to utilize the occasion to raise funds for two worthy causes.  In total more than $500,000 has been donated to both the Molson Hospitality Employee’s Relief Fund and the Health Care Workers Fund.

While the majority of the money raised came directly from a portion of the ticket proceeds, no other organization stepped up to the plate to make a contribution at the level that Sovereign General Insurance has.

In recognition of your donation Molson ensured that the Sovereign General Insurance name was mentioned in every media interview opportunity for the concert that focused on the charitable funds.  Molson also prominently displayed your company name on the video screens throughout the twelve-hour concert event.  Sovereign General Insurance has also been recognized as a major contributor to the Funds on informational brochures distributed to all Health Care and Hospitality Workers in the Greater Toronto area.
